Brand Elasticity
Brand elasticity describes how far a brand can stretch into new categories, audiences, or meanings without losing credibility or clarity. Highly elastic brands are able to expand because their core value is broad, emotionally resonant, or purpose-driven, while low-elasticity brands are tightly associated with a specific product or function. Understanding brand elasticity helps organizations evaluate growth opportunities and avoid overextension that could weaken brand equity.
