Brand Permission

Brand permission refers to what audiences believe a brand is “allowed” to do, based on trust, expectations, and past behavior. It reflects whether customers feel a brand has the credibility, authenticity, and relevance to enter new spaces, adopt new tones, or introduce new offerings. Brand permission is earned over time through consistency and delivery — and losing it can result in skepticism, rejection, or reputational damage.
