Verbal Identity

Verbal identity (also called verbal brand identity) is the linguistic dimension of a brand — how a company speaks, writes, and communicates its personality and meaning through language. It includes the choice of words, phrases, messaging architecture, tone of voice, taglines, naming conventions, and narrative style. Verbal identity ensures consistent language use across all communications so that every written or spoken interaction reflects the brand’s character and values. Unlike visual identity, which shows what a brand looks like, verbal identity shapes how a brand feels and sounds to its audience. Wikipedia
